Assembly Operator

Compensation: $20/hr
Shift/Working Hours: 1st Shift | 6:00 am to 4:30 pm | Monday - Thursday

About the Role

PrideStaff is partnering with a manufacturing leader in Asheville, NC, to find a detail-oriented Assembly Operator to build high-quality gear boxes using engineering designs.

What You Will Do
  • Perform all operations necessary to assemble, test, and ship speed reducers while following ISO 9001 quality procedures.
  • Read and interpret assembly routers and drawings to accurately place component parts into storage systems.
  • Maintain safety standards by using proper PPE and reporting concerns while working efficiently in a team environment.
What You Will Bring

If you have these skills and characteristics, we want to hear from you!
  • Technical Skills: High school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to use basic hand tools, and a Forklift Certification.
  • Physical Ability: Capability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours and lift up to 25 lbs continuously or 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and the ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
