About the Role
PrideStaff is partnering with a manufacturing leader in Asheville, NC, to find a detail-oriented Assembly Operator to build high-quality gear boxes using engineering designs.
What You Will Do
- Perform all operations necessary to assemble, test, and ship speed reducers while following ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Read and interpret assembly routers and drawings to accurately place component parts into storage systems.
- Maintain safety standards by using proper PPE and reporting concerns while working efficiently in a team environment.
What You Will Bring
If you have these skills and characteristics, we want to hear from you!- Technical Skills: High school diploma (or equivalent), the ability to use basic hand tools, and a Forklift Certification.
- Physical Ability: Capability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours and lift up to 25 lbs continuously or 50 lbs occasionally.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and the ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.
