At BAC, we believe in doing the right thing, the right way. As an Assembly Operations Supervisor, you’ll guide a crew of talented operators to hit daily build targets while advancing long-term improvement projects. You’ll model our values—Earning Trust, Embracing Responsibility, Showing Courage, and Driving Innovation—every step of the way.
You start by walking the line—verifying safety readiness, confirming materials with the Material Coordinator, and aligning work assignments to skill sets. You coach operators on standard work, hold the team accountable to those standards, and flex manpower to keep takt on track. When an issue pops up, you partner with the Lean Tech and Material Coordinator for root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Throughout the shift, you update key metrics, mentor junior mechanics, and reinforce 5S, quality checks, and safe crane operations. You close the day by coordinating with the Team Lead on quarterly objectives, Skills Matrix training, and any accident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are shared clearly with the team.
Preferred proficiency: Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
We expect leaders who earn trust, take responsibility, show courage in solving problems, and innovate to improve how we work. If that sounds like you, you’ll thrive here.
