    Operator I (1st & 2nd Shift)

    Location: Minnetonka, MN

    Pay Rate
    • 1st Shift:$18.75/hour

    • 2nd Shift:$19.25/hour

    Shift Schedules
    • 1st Shift: Monday Thursday | 5:00 AM 3:30 PM

    • 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday | 3:30 PM 2:00 AM

    Job Summary

    We are hiring Operator I professionals for a leading medical device manufacturing company in Minnetonka, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow a career in manufacturing. No prior medical device experience is required-0 to 6 months of manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience is welcome.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations under direct supervision.

    • Assemble small medical device components with accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation.

    • Follow written procedures and verbal instructions in compliance with manufacturing standards.

    • Inspect products and components to ensure quality requirements are met.

    • Troubleshoot basic production issues and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

    • Follow all safety policies and use appropriate protective equipment.

    • Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.

    • Support production goals while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications Required
    • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

    • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic data collection systems.

    • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

    • Ability to prioritize work and handle small components.

    • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

    • Must meet a minimum 7th-grade reading and comprehension level.

    Preferred
    • 0 6 months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, or another regulated work environment is acceptable.

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.
