Job Description:

Description

This is a Contract Position

As an Assembly/Build Technician, you will be responsible to support engineering activities in the assembly of prototype semiconductor devices which include fabrication, modification and assembly of prototypes systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Daily activities include building prototype semiconductor parts using assembly equipment such as SMT machine, reflow oven, dicing equipment, Die attach, wire bond, mold, laser marking strip grinder and sputtering machines.
  • Must be able to participate in daily updates and exchange of information during meetings
  • Ensure ESD protocols are met and monitor compliance

Required Experience and Skills

  • An Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience and at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to perform manual soldering techniques under microscope
  • Working knowledge on different semiconductor assembly equipment such as SMT, die attach, wire bonder mold, laser marking, singulation, strip grinder and x-ray machines
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to use computer and working knowledge of MS office applications

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Knowledge of different electronic components
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as neceessary
  • Experience in manual soldering techniques of microscopic parts is an added advantage
