Hunter offers $20.50 as the starting rate with opportunities for advancement in level and pay. This position is for our 1st shift (5:45am-2:15pm, Monday-Friday)
As a PCB Assembler, you will read MOS drawings and ECO's while also receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
What You’ll Do:
- Read MOS drawings and ECO's while also receiving verbal instructions regarding work assignments.
- Route and lace cables; Attach hardware and seals assembly.
- Replace defective components and wiring.
- Repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
- Measure and cut wire, cable, outer jacket on cable, and inner wire on cable to required length.
- Strip insulation off inner wires
- Perform wire termination and crimp terminals on the end of wires both manually and by machine.
- Solder terminals and plugs on the ends of wire.
- Assemble plugs, connectors, and unique parts onto the cable or wire.
- Wears all safety equipment, follow safety rules and supports, and promotes safety in the work areas.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years cable assembly/electronic assembly experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with small components.
