Assembler I Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect, assemble, and package medical devices and components
Use tray, band, and impulse sealers
Work with chemicals (Isopropyl Alcohol, solvents, detergents, etc.) as needed to clean work area
and components.
Ensure products are handled and assembled per Quality Tech Services' Quality Systems Procedure(s)
Adhere to cGMP and ISO regulations
Competent on all tray, band and impulse sealers
Responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and OSHA regulations and relevant training
Responsible for proper documentation necessary to complete job
Assist with weekly cleaning of production area(s) and cleaning of common areas
Other duties as assigned
Assembler II Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficient in math skills required to complete all manufacturing procedures.
English language (reading comprehension, listening, and writing).
Good hand-eye coordination.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Methodologies.
At least 6 months of the following experience:
o Assembly, manufacturing, and cleanroom experience.
o Operation of all tray, band, and impulse sealers.
o Knowledge or training pertaining to FDA, cGMP, and ISO regulations.
o Knowledge or training pertaining to workplace safety and OSHA regulations.
o Able to accurately measure chemicals/solvents and adjust concentrations as needed.
o Storing, handling, and cleaning up hazardous materials.
o Grand Avenue Software (GAS)
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
