Responsibilities include providing on-demand sign language transliteration for meetings, classes, and events, with occasional travel and flexible hours.
Additionally, the role involves recruiting, supervising, and mentoring interpreters, managing contracts, and coordinating accommodations.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, ASL fluency, and four years of interpreting experience; preferred qualifications include extensive post-secondary interpreting experience and advanced degrees in related fields.
Required skills encompass strong organizational, decision-making, and communication abilities, adherence to professional standards, and current national certification with RID membership.
This exempt role is based on the Homewood Campus, with a salary range of $73,300 - $128,300 annually.
