Candidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment. Asbuilt Technician Omaha, NE (Onsite) The primary responsibility will be to hang asset tags at our natural gas facilities, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of equipment. This position involves frequent travel, typically ranging from 50% to 70% of the time, with extended stays of one to two weeks, followed by one week in the office. Travel destinations will be contained within Northerns footprint, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. Key Responsibilities: Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points. Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards. Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation. Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research. Assist in reviewing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately place asset tags. Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes. Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing asset tracking procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus. Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays, for prolonged periods. Valid driver's license and willingness to comply with all travel-related policies and procedures.
