Job Title: AS/400 System Administrator 857 Location: Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Remote) Assignment type: Temporary (12 monthsw/ high chance of extension or hire) Pay rate: $75-$80/hour
Responsibilities:
Administer IBM i (AS/400): architecture, configs, libraries, subsystems, job scheduling
Use CL scripting, ACS, Navigator for i, command line tools
Support integrations (APIs, external systems, networking)
Develop/support RPG, CL, SQL; debug and optimize applications
Collaborate cross-team; strong problem-solving and communication
Qualifications:
3+ years recent IBM AS/400 (IBM i) admin experience (v7R3+)
3+ years programming (AS/400, RPG/CL/SQL or data integration)
Experience with Power 8 + Dell EMC VNX (DR backups)
Bachelors in IT/CS (or equivalent experience) + IBM i training
