The Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt is comprised of three Conservatories: Music, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Theatre. Our faculty and staff maintain successful professional careers in their chosen fields alongside their commitment to training and educating our students in preparation to enter performing arts industries.
Position Summary
Weekly applied viola lessons taught onsite at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) Chicago campus, working with students enrolled in the following degree programs:
• Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance • Bachelor of Music Education • Bachelor of Musical Arts • Bachelor of Arts • Master of Music in Viola Performance • Master of Music in Orchestral Studies with a Viola concentration • Performance Diploma in Viola Performance • Professional Diploma in Orchestra Studies with a Viola concentration
This is a part-time position with a cap of 20 total teaching hours per week. The salary for this position is approximately $110,000.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Masters degree • Significant teaching and/or performing experience will be considered in place of earned degrees • Experience in collegiate-level teaching • Excellent interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
