Key Responsibilities
• Lead Foundation Model & AI Programs: Drive the technical roadmap for AI integrations, large language models (LLMs), or specialized computer vision tools across Apple hardware and software.
• Cross-Functional Architecture Alignment: Act as the technical bridge between engineering, hardware, legal, data operations, and privacy compliance teams.
• End-to-End Program Delivery: Own project schedules, build systematic tracking methods, identify technical risks, and isolate critical path dependencies.
• Executive-Level Communication: Distill highly complex AI/ML limitations, metrics, and technical blockers into simple, data-driven progress reports for Apple executives.
• Core Requirements
• AI/ML Technical Depth: Deep understanding of machine learning lifecycles, including data pipelines, training, model evaluation, and deployment.
• System Design Expertise: Ability to challenge engineering assumptions and make system architecture trade-offs.
• Program Management Mastery: Track record of running massive, parallel engineering workflows using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Influence Without Authority: Ability to build a strong consensus among engineering groups with competing priorities
