Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

The ASU ARTEMIS Pre-College Summer Institute (PSI) is a two-week residential program designed to engage rising sophomore and junior high school students in hands-on STEM learning. The program includes interactive activities such as UAV flying, rocket launching, and chemistry experiments, along with college preparation and career mentoring led by ASU faculty, staff, and students. Participants will also explore real-world STEM applications through off-campus trips, including visits to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. ARTEMIS PSI is dedicated to increasing diversity in STEM and encourages all interested students to apply. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Junior Instructors:

• Deliver assigned instructional content and labs • Assist with curriculum implementation and student projects • Mentor and supervise students during academic activities • Collaborate with Student Assistants and Program Administrator • Provide feedback on student engagement and learning outcomes

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience preferred • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Student Assistants:

• Assist instructors during lessons and lab activities • Help students with coursework and technical tasks • Set up and organize classroom materials and equipment • Track attendance and assist with daily program logistics • Support supervision of students during program activities

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled at ASU in a relevant degree program • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of social media platforms
