Farber Hebrew Day School - Yeshivat Akiva is looking for a dynamic, motivated, creative and thoughtful full-time or part-time Art teacher for its Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach grade-appropriate art units
- Develop a great rapport with students
- Nurture student curiosity and creativity
- Develop art literacy
- Integrate art with other subjects
- Use classroom assessments to support student learning
- Communicate regularly with parents
- Warm personality
Strong candidates will be good team players, possess a growth mindset for themselves as well as their students, and feel a sense of appropriate urgency to educate their students. Mentoring is available.
