Job Title: Art Director
Location: Mclean, VA - Hybrid
Duration: 12 months with Possible extension or conversion
Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr on w2 - without benefits

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- 5+ years of Art direction experience
- At least 3 years of professional design experience in relevant industries and channels
- At least 3 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- At least 1 year of experience working with a digital design software (e.g., Figma, etc.)
- Portfolio of multichannel creative work, with descriptions of creative strategy
- Experience with Spatial design is a must
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 3 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: luxury, travel, hospitality, premium
- Additional expertise in spatial or experiential design is a further plus, including experience with a 3D or spatial design software (e.g., Adobe Substance, Sketchup, etc.)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and develop creative for a range of print and digital channels, including web, email, display, mail, proposals, packaging, OOH, experiential activations, and more
- Own design through the creative process—from white space to real life
- Champion and guard the brand, ensuring consistency and recognition across work
- Collaborate with a team of copywriters, creative directors, and brand partners
- Work with marketing, business, and production partners, both internally and externally
- Use evidence and strategy to inform creative decisions and adapt approach for varying briefs, products, and business goals
- Manage deadlines on multiple projects, delivering high-quality, error-free work with attention to detail
- Proactively bring new ideas and identify opportunities for solutions
- Present work in a compelling way, tailoring for different audiences
