Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and responding to emergency and security-related situations in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity on the location, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
• Support assigned governmental operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting visitors and staff with directions or information, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
