As an Armed Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Morning Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for restricted areas, verifying credentials, observing visitor movement, and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
Document incidents, observations, and/or response actions in detailed reports, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess supervisory experience.
Possess a CPO certification.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
