Biosense Webster, Inc. is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The company established its leadership in electrophysiology with the development of the first real-time, 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology, as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The introduction of the company's CARTO® 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by increasing the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of the cardiac ablation procedure.The Area Therapy Advancement Manager (ATAM) is a member of the US Commercial Marketing leadership team and reports directly to the National Therapy Advancement Director. The ATAM is responsible for developing and overseeing the successful execution of the BWI Marketing strategies to increase the number of patients receiving ablation in their aligned sales area in close alignment with the broader BWI commercial strategy.  The ATAM leads the area Therapy Advancement field team consisting of area Regional Therapy Advancement Managers (RTAMs). This role works closely with Sales and Clinical Leadership, and several cross functional teams including Health Care Compliance, HEMA and Customer Education and Engagement.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESUnder (e.g. limited supervision, general direction, etc.) and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:          Develop and manage Regional Therapy Advancement team members (RTAMs)Advocate on behalf of EP programs to health system administrationEngage with hospital administrators and physicians to gain alignment on projectsIdentity accounts, align objectives with Area Vice President and National Therapy Advancement Manager and execute plans that enable patient treatmentPromote and maximize the use of all available customer resources developed by commercial marketing, Professional Education, HEMA, and SCGIncrease overall awareness of the AFib disease state among all stakeholdersConnect physicians with commercial and strategic marketing to advocate products and programs that will strengthen customer relationshipsPlan and execute national-level marketing projects that will contribute to organizational goalsWork with field sales teams to achieve business objectivesServe as a member of sales area leadership teamRecruit, develop and retain top talent into the Therapy Advancement team (e.g., selection, performance management, succession planning, development planning, retention planning, etc.).
