Area Sales Manager – Residential Homebuilding

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead sales performance across multiple residential communities. This role is responsible for driving revenue, coaching and developing the on-site sales team, and ensuring consistent execution of sales strategy from initial contact through closing.

This is a hands-on leadership role with significant field presence, focused on performance, accountability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals across all communities
  • Lead, coach, and develop sales staff
  • Support day-to-day sales operations and community staffing as needed
  • Oversee new community launches, pricing strategy, and market positioning
  • Monitor traffic, conversions, and sales performance to drive improvements
  • Partner with Marketing and internal teams on launches and ongoing campaigns
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales processes and strong customer experience
  • Oversee CRM usage, reporting accuracy, and pipeline management


Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years in new home sales, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of the residential homebuilding sales cycle
  • Experience managing multiple communities and sales professionals
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • PA Real Estate License required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


Requirements

  • Must be available to work most weekends (2 weekdays off)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between communities
