Description:

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our innovative bracing and support solutions across your designated region. You will act as a strategic partner to medical professionals, delivering high-impact sales presentations and building long-term relationships within the hospital and clinical ecosystem. Your mission is to expand our market share and ensure our life-enhancing orthopedic products reach the patients who need them most.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Regional Growth: Attain or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for the full product portfolio within the LA County and Central California area.

  • Strategic Clinical Engagement: Deliver personalized sales presentations to key decision-makers across hospital departments (Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Trauma, ER, Materials Management) and private clinics (O&P offices, Physical Therapy).

  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain deep clinical partnerships to expand the core customer base and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Operational Excellence: Utilize data-driven territory reports to plan activities, manage expenses proactively, and maintain 90%+ technical competency on all product testing.

  • Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with independent representatives and distribution partners to align on goals and maximize market penetration.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, providing actionable feedback to management to protect and grow our market position.

  • A Strategic Closer: You have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences or a Business discipline.

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in direct field sales.

  • Travel: Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (up to 50% travel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience selling Orthotics & Prosthetics (O&P), Physical Therapy, or Orthopedic medical products.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use territory databases to drive profitability.

  • Existing relationships within hospital systems and private clinics in LA County or Central California.
