Area Directors of Revenue Management (Area DORMs) are highly strategic, data-driven, and analytical individuals who lead and enhance all streams of revenue generation. Responsible for oversight & execution of topline strategies and initiatives, the Area DORM will forecast, budget, and optimize revenue mix on a day-to-day basis. Successful Area DORMs have a strong business acumen and people leadership skills directing revenue initiatives across all channels to achieve aggressive goals. Area DORMs are passionate about developing revenue management talent, fostering excellence through training, guidance, and empathy. The Area DORM leverages strong communication skills to present hotel performance trends to owners and senior leaders regularly.
What you'll be doing…
Analyze and yield manage all revenue distribution systems (RMS, CRS & PMS)
Develop and recommend pricing strategies for all segments/channels
Chair Strategy meetings, compile data, analyze trends and implement the strategy
Provide ongoing feedback on strategies, market trends & addresses areas of opportunity
Present to senior leadership and owners regularly on performance trends and future strategies
Collaborate with commercial and operations colleagues ensuring all revenue strategies are cohesive across the organization
Assist in developing the annual budget, forecast, and optimal mix for the Hotel
Proactively identifying industry, market & economic trends data
Conduct displacement analysis on an ad-hoc basis
Engage in preventative measures to minimize risk; act to quickly resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise
Maintain confidentiality of information
Effectively communicate with hotel teams
Always maintain professionalism consistent with company expectations
Requirements…
5+ years of hotel revenue management experience
Recent Hilton systems experience required
4-year degree in hotel administration, business, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience and education preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including electronic communication
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace
8+ hours per day sitting at desk/computer
Manual dexterity and repetitive motions required throughout workday
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed or directed
