Seeking an Area Director of Human Resources for hotels in California, with remote work and travel required.
Manage HR functions including training, benefits, employee relations, and compliance across selected hotels.
Must have expert knowledge of California Employment Law and hotel industry experience.
Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with corporate HR to ensure effective communication and administration of benefits, compensation, leaves, and employee relations.
  • Train and support hotel associates to meet brand and hotel standards.
  • Process new hires in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Ensure legal compliance by reviewing practices, implementing new procedures, and communicating updates.
  • Counsel and train managers on employee issues, resolve grievances, conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and develop employee programs to reduce turnover.
Qualifications:
  • Prior hotel HR management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s or higher in HR preferred; SHRM certification preferred.
  • Motivating, professional demeanor, ability to travel.
  • Expert knowledge of California Employment Law required.
Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
