Area Customer Service Coordinator New Britain, CT (onsite) 3+Month Contract (temp to perm) M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Driving is required This position supports daily operations, implementations, service expansions, and administrative functions across multiple customer sites throughout Connecticut. The role requires traveling between locations to provide coverage for mailroom services, print production, reception, and general office support in environments including legal, insurance, hospital, and manufacturing facilities. Candidates must be adaptable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in different settings while supporting operational excellence and service delivery. Responsibilities Support daily operations for contracted services across multiple customer accounts within the assigned area Provide coverage for mailroom services, print production, reception, and administrative support as needed Travel between sites throughout the day to cover absences, vacations, training, implementations, and operational needs Assist management with process improvements, procedural testing, compliance checks, and operational best practices Support implementation of new customer accounts and service expansions Assist with onboarding and cross-training team members Maintain and review site procedure guides for accuracy and compliance Perform routine inspections to ensure safety, service quality, and operational compliance Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a customer-focused environment Respond quickly to customer and end-user requests while resolving or escalating issues appropriately Collect operational data and assist with monthly reporting requirements Communicate effectively with customers, management, and onsite teams Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and moving materials or equipment as needed Requirements High school diploma plus at least 12 months of related work experience; post-secondary education preferred Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and willingness to travel locally between sites throughout Connecticut, including distances up to 50 miles Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or changing site assignments as required Previous mailroom, office services, reception, or print production experience preferred but not required Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, file management, and navigating network folders Ability to work independently and within a team environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in office and warehouse-style environments with varying responsibilities Ability to maintain accurate expense reporting and follow operational procedures Business casual dress code required Mileage reimbursed at $0.72 per mile; parking is free or reimbursable depending on location Metasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
