We are immediately hiring an ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST to support ARDEX product specification opportunities in the SOUTHWEST REGION, focusing on TEXAS (primarily Dallas, Austin, Houston).

Territory: Field-based to cover Southwest Region, with a focus on TEXAS

Home base location:DALLAS, TX preferred.

Travel: Up to 30% territory travel including overnight

As an ARCHITECTURAL SPECIALIST you will partner with architects, designers, engineers, specifiers, and key end users to secure ARDEX specifications and drive project opportunities. This highly visible role combines technical expertise, business development, and strategic relationship management to help grow ARDEX's presence across commercial construction markets.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, engineers, and architectural firms. Engage key decision-makers including Directors of Construction, Architectural Managers, Specification Writers, and Design Leaders.
  • Identify, win and secure ARDEX product specifications on commercial construction projects
  • Conduct presentations and meetings that influence product selection and specification decision
  • Develop opportunities with retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, and other strategic construction end users.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including Healthcare, Education, and Prefabrication/Modular construction
  • Participate in local and regional architectural organizations and industry associations
  • Serve as a trusted resource by providing specification reviews, technical support, and product recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with ARDEX sales, technical, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer support and business results
  • Utilize CRM and lead generation tools to identify, track, and manage project opportunities. Maintain accurate account, project, and specification activity records
  • Represent ARDEX at regional and national architectural, design, and construction industry events.
  • Support educational programs, trade shows, and industry presentations that promote ARDEX solutions and expertise

Required Experience:

What You’ll Bring to ARDEX

  • Minimum 2 (two) years’ experience in architectural sales, specification sales, or a related construction industry sales role is essential
  • Knowledge of architectural specifications, construction design processes, and project influence strategies
  • Experience selling building products, flooring systems, construction materials, or related products
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems
  • A high level of energy, professionalism, and passion for helping customers succeed.


Requirements

  • Four (4) year college degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory up to 30%, including overnight stays
  • Current, valid, and unexpired driver's license with a clean driving record. Able to travel by car and by air
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds with a carrying capability of 20 pounds
