Under direct supervision of Manager of Architecture & Design the Architect, Intern will assist, learn, understand, and execute the following job roles as follows:Assist with programming and schematic design including preliminary site visits and field verifications. Assist in review of construction documents that align with industry standard drawing formats and annotation techniques, picking up red lines and making changes as needed. Assist in preparing design presentations and renderings when needed. May assist in facilitating the coordination with project consultants that may include outside Architecture firms, Civil, Structural and MEP engineers. Assist in researching and evaluating materials, products, and potential manufacturers on installation details and warranty information. Assist in researching jurisdictional requirements i.e. applicable codes, submittal/plan check processes, etc. Maintain an organized file system. Perform other duties as assigned.
