Job Summary
Part of a larger team delivering Transmission Engineering technology solutions that enable planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the transmission grid. This role focuses on translating engineering and business requirements into fit-for-purpose solution architectures, including application, integration, data, and infrastructure considerations, along with non-functional requirements such as resiliency, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
The Architect serves as the technical authority for Transmission Engineering solutions, ensuring designs align with approved architecture patterns, cybersecurity requirements, regulatory obligations, and the organizations transmission modernization strategywithout assuming enterprise-wide platform ownership.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
