This is a permanent, T5 Excepted Service position for an Architect/Engineer (GS-0810-12). The primary role involves providing supervisory (less than 25%) and technical assistance in overseeing engineering shops, managing production control, and supporting all sections with standards and code compliance.
Key duties include planning work, assigning tasks based on staff skills, preparing and reviewing engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for various military facilities, and ensuring technical adequacy. The role also involves managing real property facilities, making decisions on construction, maintenance, and disposal in line with policies, coordinating plans, and forecasting resource needs.
