Architect (Computer Systems Engineers / Architects). Windchill Architect specializing in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). Responsible for infrastructure planning, system administration, technical support, and the implementation of enhancements and integrations for large-scale enterprise PLM environments. Oversee the designing, planning, setup, and management of Windchill infrastructure for both production and non-production environments. Lead and execute upgrades and migrations of Windchill PDMLink across multiple versions (10.0 – 12.0), including system customization to enhance functionality and integration with other enterprise applications. Perform data migrations and manage Solr Cloud configurations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting. Develop and deliver solutions for new requirements and system enhancements. Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) projects. Design and maintain Windchill infrastructure with High Availability (HA) architecture principles. Support patching activities and apply Windchill CPS patches. Configure enterprise LDAP for corporate user access, design advanced access controls, and replicate data to globally distributed file servers for efficient user access. Monitor application performance, proactively diagnose and resolve technical issues using strong troubleshooting skills and implement effective solutions. 40 hours per week, $115,000/year. Requires Master’s degrees in Computer Science & Engineering or related area and background with Windchill PLM systems and knowledge with Windchill PDMLink administration, upgrades, and integrations across multiple versions. Proficiency in infrastructure planning, system customization, data migration, and Solr Cloud configuration. Knowledge of cloud-hosted enterprise systems for PLM systems, LDAP configuration, and windchill high availability architecture. Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda script, CloudWatch, RDS Database. Knowledge of HTML, Java Script, Servlets, JSPs, Linux scripts, SQL. Knowledge of Microsoft: Power Apps/ Power Automate. JIRA, ServiceNow. Understanding of Oracle SQL Developer, Putty, WinSCP, Windows Server 2019, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server releases.
