In this role, you will manage multiple projects, overseeing archaeological surveys and site evaluations, ensuring project planning and completion, maintaining client relationships, and serving as primary agency liaison.What You Will Be Doing:Serve as SOI-qualified Archaeological Principal Investigator for cultural resources projectsCoordinate cultural resources research, surveys, excavations, and reporting with project staffOversee cultural resources construction monitoring, including coordination with crews, site documentation, material identification and report preparationProvide project management support for cultural resource services to internal teams and clientsDevelop scopes of work and budgets for cultural resource tasksWrite, review, and assess cultural resources reports prior to submissionReview project invoices and expensesCommunicate and coordinate with Federal, State, Local, and Tribal agencies on project-specific mattersBuild and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and consulting partiesFacilitate negotiations regarding cultural resource impacts and mitigation strategiesAssist with cultural resource management, environmental review documents, and planning tasks as neededTravel to project sites and related locationsSupport and lead cultural resources business development initiatives across company operationsWhat We Are Looking For:Education:Master's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology with 2 or more years of related experienceBachelor's degree in Anthropology and Archaeology, or closely related field required with 5 or more years of related experience; supervisory experience preferredKnowledge of Midwest prehistoric and historic periods, artifacts, architectural styles and contextsExperience following State and Federal cultural resource regulations, laws and executive orders and environmental review processesAbility to read and interpret USGS topographic maps, aerial imagery, plat maps and historic plansStrong communication, organizational, time management and critical thinking skillsDetail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of CAD and QA/QC software and processesExperience with ArcPRO preferredPossess a valid driver's license and reliable transportationBolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students.
