AR Specialist

Location: South Charlotte, NC (Onsite for training then hybrid flexibility)

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Pay: $30/hour - $33/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 3-month contract assignment with a growing organization in South Charlotte. This role will support the accounting team with high-volume accounts receivable functions, cash application, collections support, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in JD Edwards (JDE) and be able to quickly contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• B2B Collections
• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely
• Apply cash receipts and investigate payment discrepancies
• Monitor aging reports
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues
• Research unapplied cash, short payments, and deductions
• Generate AR reports and maintain accurate records
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
• Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve account issues
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting support experience
• Required: Experience using JD Edwards (JDE)
• Strong understanding of cash applications, account reconciliations, and collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
