Revenue Cycle AR Manager - Neurology | Hybrid | North Phoenix, AZ | $70,000-$83,000

Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager with a background in neurology or specialty healthcare billing? We are partnering with a growing, highly respected healthcare organization in North Phoenix to identify a strong leader to oversee their revenue cycle and AR operations.

Position Overview

As the AR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable within a busy neurology practice. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure timely reimbursement, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize revenue cycle performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee AR operations, including insurance follow-up, denial management, and collections
  • Monitor KPIs such as aging reports, reimbursement timelines, and cash flow performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AR specialists
  • Identify trends in denials and implement corrective action plans
  • Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and healthcare regulations
  • Partner with billing, coding, and clinical teams to resolve revenue cycle issues
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle or AR management
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, insurance claims, and denial resolution
  • Experience in neurology, specialty care, or complex billing environments preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and revenue cycle reporting tools
  • Proven ability to analyze data and improve AR performance metrics

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $83,000 annually
  • Hybrid schedule (combination of onsite and remote work)
