Our client, a growing construction/services organization in the Addison area, is looking to add an AR Billing Specialist Contractor to support the accounting team during a high-volume operational period.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on construction / AIA billing, customer invoicing, billing support, and day-to-day operational accounting activities in a fast-paced environment. The team needs someone who can jump in quickly, take ownership of billing workflows, and help keep operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Support AR billing operations including customer invoicing and resolving billing discrepancies
- Prepare and generate invoices for construction projects (AIA billing), service contracts and field work, and resale transactions
- Support time & material billings, fixed-price contracts, change orders, progress payments, and retainage/release amounts while ensuring all details align with contract terms and subcontractor requirements
- Partner with accounting and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely customer support
- Assist the accounting team during ERP transition activities as the company prepares for go-live
- Provide immediate operational accounting support within a lean, fast-paced accounting environment
Requirements
- Strong construction / AIA billing experience
- Service and resale billing experience preferred
- Background supporting AR billing operations in fast-paced environments
- Ability to work independently and operate with urgency
- ERP experience is a plus
