Job Title: Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor (Student Associate) - Campus Recreation Center

Primary Duties
The Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor leads group water workouts with participants from the pool. Some of the Aquatic Fitness Classes we offer include deep and shallow water aerobics, hydro-fit, and stroke and turn clinics as other creative water workouts. Water Fitness Instructors should be able to lead several group workouts of varying skill levels and intensities.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school.
Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
"Enrollment" shall include:
The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.
The one "off" term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment.
Applicants must hold a Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification OR swim instructor certification to be considered. You must upload a copy of your certification to the "ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS" section of the application.
It is preferred that applicants are CPR/AED certified but if not, applicant must be willing and able to obtain a CPR certification offered at Campus Recreation.
