The Seasonal Aquatics Coordinator, supervised by the Aquatics Director, supports aquatic operations at YMCA locations from June 1 to September 1, 2026.
Responsibilities include staffing, supervising lifeguards, scheduling, training, on-deck oversight, and maintaining pool safety and mechanics in compliance with health regulations. Flexibility for summer camp, weekend events, and evening swim programs is required.
Must be at least 21 with 3+ years of lifeguard/swim instructor experience, certifications in CPR, AED, First Aid, Lifeguarding, WSI, and possibly CPO.
Candidates should demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, safety consciousness, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to supervise diverse staff and respond effectively to emergencies.
