Summary
Extend the services of physicians by providing assessment and management in the critical care specialty area. Assist in bedside surgical procedures. Patients are typically intubated on ventilators and/or have hemodynamic instability.
Medical Specialties include but are not limited to primary and secondary care areas: cardiology, neurology, oncology, pain management, nephrology, etc.
Services that this position may provide include:
Provide coordination and clinical services across the continuum of care for medical/surgical specialty patients.
APPs plan and conduct ongoing education and training.
Operate under physician directed protocols for all Advanced Practice Provider duties.
