We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.THE OPPORTUNITYAs the Apprentice Facilities Specialist, you will provide support to an assigned region of restaurants through Preventative Maintenance Site Audits and reactionary requests helping deliver an environment of World Class Food Safety and an Excellent Guest Experience.WHAT YOU'LL DOPerform four Preventative Maintenance Site Audits in each assigned location annuallyComplete reactionary service calls in a timely and cost‑effective mannerContinue to learn additional trades contributing to higher in‑house repairsPartner with local and national vendors to ensure work is completed is to Chipotle's standardsCollaborate with sub‑regional leadership team to have a unified purpose and vision inside our locationsManage direct M&R budget of assigned locationsWork directly with Apprentice Facilities Manager or Facilities manager to identify capital improvement needs, get quotes for such items, and after installation validate quality and workmanshipSource, organize and track parts and inventory for needed repairsManage Service Channel requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give SC training to restaurants when neededPartner with Facilities Support Team to ensure requests are assigned and completed in efficient mannerMeet all administrative deadlines when it comes to mileage, Pcards, inventories, and Tru‑ups.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Trade School Certificate preferredClean Motor Vehicle Report requiredEPA Certification preferred0‑1 years' experience in related field1+ year(s) of experience in the restaurant industryMechanically inclined, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint; able to lift 50 pounds, use ladders on a frequent basis, overnight travel may be required.Can work independently most of the day, plan and organize schedules, communicate effectively through email and/or phone conversations.WHO WE AREChipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food with wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
