About the Role
Central MEP Solutions is hiring a Level I Apprentice Electrician for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This position is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to gain hands-on experience while building a long-term career in the electrical trade within a structured union environment.
You will work under the supervision of licensed electricians and assist with daily electrical installation tasks on active commercial job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Assist electricians with installing commercial electrical systems
Support conduit bending, cutting, and installation
Pull wire and assist with cable routing
Install electrical boxes, fixtures, and basic components
Help with panel and device installations
Follow union agreements and job site safety regulations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
0–3 years of electrical or construction experience
Must meet union apprenticeship eligibility requirements
Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Willingness to learn and take direction
Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
