Position summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining and analyzing the Assessor's records for appraisals in the computer assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system which is currently Proval. The position manages the data processing requirements of the County Assessor's office including daily systems and worksheet analysis, while also providing technical advice. The work is performed under the direction of the Chief Deputy Assessor, in collaboration with other managers, the lead appraiser and other appraisers to coordinate department mass-appraisal efforts. This position also requires a self-starter that can independently plan and organize their own work duties and projects in worksheet data analysis, and provides technical advice as needed. The principal duties of this position are performed in a general office environment, with occasional travel to field sites to assist with annual or other property appraisals.
