The Doe Run Company is seeking an Applications Specialist who will be responsible for configuration and support of enterprise applications and legacy systems which includes development and integration with the goal of 99.9% availability and support the SharePoint environment and provide development support as needed. This position is based out of our Corporate Office in St. Louis, MO.

Based in St. Louis, Missouri, The Doe Run Company is a privately held natural resources company and one of the largest lead producers in the Western Hemisphere. This position offers a competitive base pay and is eligible for the Company variable pay (bonus) plan. Benefits start first day and include insurance, paid time off, and various customer discount programs.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum 2 years of experience in an IT-related field. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or an IT-related field, and minimum 1 year of experience developing in .NET Application Framework, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft, SharePoint, Power Platform, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and .NET Application Framework (C# and Visual Basic).
  • Basic organization, problem-solving, analytics, and decision-making skills.
  • Basic understanding of change control best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of business analysis and requirement gathering to support projects.
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Computer, tablet, phone, printers.
  • Work is generally performed in a standard office setting. Regularly exposed to office noises in a standard office setting.
  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, and to talk and hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement. Requires clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
  • May be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
