Our client is searching for an Applications Engineer for their Hartland, WI office.
Job Description/Details:
- Engage with clients to understand and define their key process performance needs
- Develop creative process designs incorporating evaporation and crystallization technology
- Author technical proposals that clearly communicate value propositions and accurately define process performance
- Prepare cost estimates for the proposed equipment scope
- Participate in client meetings with the sales team as a technical expert
- Participate in pilot testing programs for process validation
- Complete engineering activities including heat & material balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation diagrams, equipment sizing calculations, dimensional designs for pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and plant equipment layout
- Collaborate with engineering teams during project execution, procurement, and start-up
- Review process design work and cost estimates produced by engineers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required
- At least 5 or more years of experience with evaporators or crystallizers
- Willingness and ability to travel when required (less than 10%)
