Overview:

TalentBridge is partnered with a well-established, global manufacturer of engineered products and solutions that support a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. The organization is investing in growth across a key product segment and is looking to add an Applications Engineer to support that expansion.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and commercial execution, offering the opportunity to work directly with customers, influence solution design, and play a meaningful role in driving business growth.

Position Summary:

This is a highly visible role where you will act as the technical extension of the commercial team, helping translate customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions. You'll be involved throughout the sales process—from early-stage discussions through installation—ensuring solutions are technically sound, well-positioned, and aligned with real-world applications.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical subject matter expert during customer interactions, supporting sales calls, presentations, and solution discussions
Work closely with customers to understand their operations and recommend effective product configurations
Support development of technical proposals, ensuring feasibility and alignment with customer requirements
Participate in site visits, pre-install assessments, and installations to ensure successful implementation
Act as a liaison between Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, helping streamline communication and reduce reliance on internal engineering resources
Assist in reviewing drawings and technical documentation, providing input on design and application
Support ongoing technical training and enablement for the commercial team

What You'll Be Focused On:

Application of engineered products in real-world environments
Understanding:
- How products function
- How they're used in the field
- How to position them effectively with customers
Translating complex technical solutions into clear, practical recommendations

Desired Experience:

Technical background (Engineering degree preferred) with the ability to operate in a customer-facing role
Experience in a B2B equipment or engineered product environment
Strong understanding of how products are applied in real-world settings
Ability to review and interpret CAD drawings (SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience is helpful; this is not a design-heavy role)
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
A consultative, engaging personality—comfortable working directly with customers and internal teams
