Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Programmer III to join our agile team within the Commercial Credit Technology organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Salesforce (SFDC), Mule or ETL integrations, and modern Salesforce development, with a proven ability to deliver scalable solutions, guide junior team members, and support production releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with onsite teams to gather requirements and apply or customize technology solutions.
  • Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain existing systems by identifying and correcting defects, and support multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Create technical specifications, test plans, and documentation for application specifics.
  • Provide weekend on-call support during application releases and production events.
  • Estimate story points, design solutions, and review code to ensure adherence to governor limits and best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members and take accountability for team deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience, including 6-8 years on the Salesforce.com platform.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Salesforce administration.
  • Experience building integrations using Mule or ETL tools with at least 3-4 integrations, including SFDC Web Services API and Force.com Metadata API.
  • Hands-on experience with complex enterprise release management on Force.com.
  • Track record of 3-4 large enterprise implementations across Sales or Service Cloud with significant customizations on Force.com.
  • Knowledge of advanced Visualforce components and Chatter API. Understanding of Salesforce design and development best practices and governor limits.
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile or SAFe Agile in onsite/offshore models, with XP practices preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to support production releases and work off-hours as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in international virtual teams and matrix structures.
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/BSc/MSc/BCA/MCA in IT/CS or related field.
  • Certification: Salesforce Platform Developer I (at minimum) preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of Commercial Credit underwriting technologies and nCino.
  • Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools and Mule ESB.
  • Experience with Lightning implementations and AI/ML exposure.
  • Ability to understand and maintain automated test scripts and support functional testing processes.
