Position Overview:
The role of the Application Engineer is to develop competitive and specific products for existing market segments or to conquer, in direct liaison with the customer or final prospect, by providing technical and economic support to customers and the sales department. It acts as an interface between engineering, the application and development laboratory, sales, marketing and customers. The Application Engineer manages and carries out the tests of applied products to develop the best solution in terms of performance and costs, accomplishing technical requirements, policies, decrees and normative. Customer visits, organizing and conducting technical training on products and applications, are also the main roles of this position.

Travel: Estimated 10-25% required, mainly to clients supporting Sales teams and technical collaboration.
Physical Demands: Lifting a minimum of 25lbs, occasionally. Position is a desk position. Long periods of computer and/or phone is required.
