About the Role

As an Application Engineer, you will be a technical specialist responsible for guiding customers through the full lifecycle of their solutions, from requirement analysis and application design in the pre-sales phase to implementation, training, and ongoing technical support. This role is highly hands-on and collaborative, with a strong focus on problem-solving, system understanding, and continuous improvement. You will act as a trusted technical partner for both customers and internal stakeholders, and contribute to product feedback, documentation, and operational development. This role is based out of Suwanee, GA, and reports directly to the Head of Sales. Travel of up to 50% is to be expected. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyze customer technical requirements and translate them into Evolabel applications and solutions
  • Drive pre-implementation activities such as technical scoping, system configuration, and solution validation
  • Participate in system integration, installation, commissioning, and service activities when required
  • Deliver technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure correct system usage
  • Act as a technical point of contact post-implementation, support troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Project teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Gather customer and field feedback to support continuous product and process improvement
  • Contribute to internal technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing
  • Support and drive the development and refinement of internal processes related to applications and delivery

Qualifications & Skills

Your Education, Work Experience, Skills, and Traits

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Min. 3 years of experience in application engineering, technical support, systems engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Strong technical understanding with a hands-on mindset (automation, mechanical systems, or IT environments)
  • Experience with system integration, installation, commissioning, or service delivery is an advantage
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, control systems, Linux environments, or general IT infrastructure is a plus
  • Experience working with ERP or CRM systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or HubSpot
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently as well as in cross-functional teams
