**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and enhance remanufacturing processes for both Hydraulically Actuated Unit Diesel and Common Rail Diesel injectors.
- Provide engineering support for ongoing programs concerning fuel injection products.
- Troubleshoot product performance issues including test discrepancies and in-field failures.
- Spearhead or aid in root cause investigations and suggest corrective actions.
- Craft and uphold detailed technical documentation such as incident analyses and engineering reports.
- Attend and actively contribute to regular engineering reviews and update pertinent stakeholders on progress.
- Facilitate collaboration between manufacturing and supply chain to ensure product readiness.
- Engage with labs, quality departments, and external suppliers to address technical concerns.
- Champion continuous improvement projects to enhance system performance and reliability.
**Work Environment:**
- Primarily office-based with continuous interaction with various engineering departments.
- Expectation to support critical product launches, occasionally beyond typical working hours.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in application engineering, product support, or validation engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine injection systems and proficiency in 3D SolidWorks for design purposes.
- Strong analytical skills paired with a capacity to document technical aspects proficiently.
- Adept in communication, bridging technical language for non-technical audiences.
