Application Architect III

Introduction

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance data solutions using Teradata technologies. This includes defining enterprise data architecture strategies, creating data models, and ensuring optimal performance for analytics and reporting platforms. The architect collaborates with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to deliver robust data platforms that support decision-making across the enterprise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Teradata solutions.
• Strong background in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Teradata tools and utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad).
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL tools (Informatica, SAS DI).
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data governance frameworks.
• Teradata Certified Professional (preferred).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
• Develop integration strategies and performance optimization techniques.
• Provide guidance on Teradata utilities and optimize queries for high performance.
