Application Architect III

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee architecture activities and decisions for a suite of related applications within the Payments domain. This role requires significant experience in defining architectural vision and design for large, complex solutions that align with enterprise architecture strategy and technology platform choices. The ideal candidate will be a go-to expert on microservices architecture and cloud migrations in the financial services industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• At least 20 years’ experience in information technology, with 2 years in financial services, and 15 years of solution architecture experience.
• Experience delivering microservices architectures for high throughput, low latency, zero downtime, and zero data loss.
• Proven track record mentoring junior team members and adept at collaborating with remote teams across time zones.
• Experience with software development processes (Agile and Waterfall).
• Payments Technology.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Blockchain / DLT.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Mentor teams in using Cloud-native design and Domain Driven Design.
• Establish and lead container design and deployment strategies.
• Ensure adherence to the architecture governance processes and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
