Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Appliance Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing major household appliances.
This is not an entry-level position — we need someone who can walk in, diagnose quickly, and get units back up and running without babysitting.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair:
- Refrigerators (including sealed systems preferred)
- Washers & dryers
- Ovens, ranges, and cooktops
- Dishwashers
- Complete service calls efficiently and professionally
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues and solutions
- Assist with occasional shop work (testing units, light prep)
- Maintain clean and organized work habits
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years appliance repair experience (REQUIRED)
- Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts changers)
- Experience with multiple brands (Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Professional attitude and reliability
Compensation & Perks
- $1,200/week starting salary
- Additional $100/week when using personal vehicle for service calls
