Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Job Details:
- Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans
- Work on a PRN basis with ongoing need
- Choose between half-day shifts (4 hours) or full-day shifts (8 hours)
- Conduct one-time non-treatment examinations
- Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessment including range of motion and muscle strength testing
- No prescribing or treatment required
- Complete follow-up administrative work including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics
- Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
- Multiple location options available in Kansas including Dodge City, Colby, and Garden City
- Option to work per diem at facility or use provider's own office within 50-mile radius
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process
- Weekend availability accepted but not required
