Opportunity:

Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology


Job Details:

  • Outpatient-focused hematology/oncology practice with inpatient collaboration as needed

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule

  • Part-time position requiring 2-3 shifts per week

  • See approximately 11-16 patients per day across all age groups

  • Manage patients with solid tumor cancers and hematologic malignancies

  • Provide care for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology supportive therapies

  • Work closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, oncology nurse navigators, and support services

  • Access to multidisciplinary support including oncology social worker, dietitian, mental health support, and financial navigator

  • Dedicated oncology clinic with 5 exam rooms attached to infusion department

  • Infusion center includes 9 chairs, 2 private infusion treatment rooms, and 2 fast track triage rooms

  • On-site radiology including PET, MRI, and CT imaging, as well as on-site laboratory services

  • Access to clinical trials through NCI-supported research programs

  • Cancer rehabilitation, survivorship services, palliative care, and genetic counseling available via telehealth

  • Epic EMR utilized for coordinated, connected care

  • Board certification as PA or APP required

  • Minnesota state license required
