APP - General Surgery

Opportunity:

Advanced Practice (PA) - Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General Surgery

Job Details:

• Provide surgical assist services primarily in General Surgery with additional coverage in Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, and ENT
• 
  
• Average 90-110 scheduled non-urgent cases per week
• 
  
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with possible rotating weekends
• 
  
• Handle 10 patient encounters per shift with daily census of 10-30 cases
• 
  
• Cases may occasionally run over past 5:00 PM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM
• 
  
• Work in OR environment with surgeon, scrub tech, circulating RN, and CRNA
• 
  
• Assist in OR on surgical cases only with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• 
  
• No call expected at this time
• 
  
• Must be board certified or board certification eligible
• 
  
• BLS certification required
